There is no greater feeling in the world then having power. My favorite place is on campus and when I am there I feel more powerful then I could ever imagine. This place is a field with dirt and grass. When I am in this place I am standing on a pile of clay and dirt with hundreds and hundreds of eyes on me. This place is the pitcher’s mound in Bruce Hurst field. Being a pitcher I may be biased but to me that is the greatest spot on a baseball field. I love this place because you are in charge of the game and everyone is watching you. You get to decide how the play starts every single time you throw the ball. You are the one that has the power in the game. This feeling is so amazing. Your heart is beating, your adrenaline is pumping into your system keeping you going, you look down at the catcher and get your signs, deliver the ball. The batter has no clue what just came out of your hand. You make him look like a complete fool, and then you do it again to the next guy waiting in line. When you are standing on that mound looking down at a guy that you know can’t touch your stuff makes you feel more powerful then you have ever felt. That is why the mound is my favorite spot in the world.
